Eastern Wisconsin Beef Producers and Promoters 2026 Scholarship Winners

The Eastern Wisconsin Beef Producers and Promoters would like to congratulate the recipient of the 2026 Scholarship which will be awarded in the Spring Semester of 2027:

Luke Hand – Luke graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in June 2025 and is attending UW- Platteville to pursue a career in engineering technology management with an emphasis in Agriculture. Luke is a member of Block & Bridle and Ag Mechanics/Pioneer Pulling Team at UW-Platteville. He is the son of Ann & Jim Hand. Luke is active in Lima Lites 4-H club and Sheboygan Falls FFA charter. He has shown dairy and beef steers at Sheboygan County and State Fair.

The awards are given to deserving, well-rounded students based on academic achievement, social activities and community service involvement. The recipients or their parents are members of the association.

Scholarship Application

Scholarship quantity and amount can change each year at the EWBPP board’s discretion.

Eligibility

High School seniors or post seniors currently in their first year thru their third year of higher education are eligible to apply.
Family must be a current member of EWBPP as of January 1st of the application year OR have purchased cattle from a member of EWBPP. Family member must have attended a minimum of one meeting.
Applicants majoring in any professional, technical, vocational college or training equivalent to at least one school year in length.

Minimum Requirements

Letter of recommendation (i.e. employer, teacher, school advisor, etc; no relatives)
Application (include picture)
Application must be postmarked by March 1 of the application year.
All minimum requirements must be met to be considered eligible for the scholarship.

Comments

Notification to the winners will be made by May 1 of the application year. Payment will be made after first semester is completed.
Scholarship will be paid in the name of the school. The scholarship recipient must provide the EWBPP Treasurer with the payment information by February 1.

Information needed:

Proof of completion of the first semester
Complete and accurate address to send the payment
Scholarship recipient student id number
Date the payment is due
